TOCINO AND CHINESE SAUSAGE FRIED RICE


Ingredients:

1 (500 g) pack MAGNOLIA CHICKEN TIMPLADOS TOCINO, drained
2 (100 g) pc Chinese sausage, sliced thinly
2 tbsp cooking oil
6 cloves garlic, finely crushed
3 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS
1 (200 g) pack frozen mixed veggies, thawed
6 cups cooked rice
1/2 tsp iodized fine salt

Procedure:

  1. Slice chicken into strips. Set aside.
  2. In a large pan or wok, cook and brown sausage in its own oil. Set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add oil and fry tocino in batches. Move to side and then sauté garlic until sticky. Mix with tocino and add back sausage.
  4. Make a well in the center and add eggs. When almost set, scramble and mix with tocino mixture. Add mixed veggies and then add rice. Mix well.

Makes 7 servings.
(Yield: 7-1/2 cups/1 cup per serving)
