FANCY MAIS CON HIELO


Ingredients:

1 bundle pandan leaves, washed
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
1 (250 mL) pack MAGNOLIA ALL-PURPOSE CREAM, chilled
2 cups crushed or shaved ice
1-1/2 liters MAGNOLIA CLASSIC VANILLA ICE CREAM FLAVOR
1 (250 mL) pack MAGNOLIA ALL-PURPOSE CREAM
2 cups store bought caramel popcorns
1 cup cornflakes
2 cups store bought candied pili nuts
fresh mint leaves for garnish

Procedure:

  1. To make pandan cream: combine pandan, water and sugar in a saucepan. Let boil and strain. Let cool and add to chilled cream. Transfer to a squeeze bottle.
  2. Prepare 4 chilled glasses. Place a scoop of crushed ice in each serving glass then add 2 scoops of ice cream in each glass.
  3. Arrange caramel popcorns, corn flakes and glazed nuts then drizzle with pandan cream. Garnish with mint leaves. Serve right away.
Makes 4 servings.
