CORN CHOWDER WITH PULLED PORK


Ingredients:

2 tbsp PURE OIL VEGETABLE COOKING OIL
1 (50 g) pc onion, chopped
2 tbsp MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1/4 kg potato, peeled and chopped
1 pc chicken bouillon cube, diluted in 1 liter of water
1 (425 g) can corn kernels, drained
1 (250 mL) pc MAGNOLIA FULL CREAM MILK
1 (210 g) pc PUREFOODS PULLED PORK ASIAN STYLE

Procedure:

  1. Heat oil in a pot and sauté onion and garlic. Add flour and cook until golden brown.
  2. Add potato and chicken stock. Bring to boil and simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. Add corn and milk. Simmer for another 5 minutes or until smooth.
  4. Serve in bowl and top with pork.

Makes 6 servings.
