BAKED CHICKEN MACARONI


Ingredients:

1 (500 g) pack macaroni pasta, cooked according to package directions

Chicken tomato sauce

300 g DARI CRÈME CLASSIC
1 (150 g) pc onion, chopped
9 cloves garlic, chopped
1/2 kg MAGNOLIA CHICKEN STATION GROUND CHICKEN
1 (600 g) can canned tomatoes
3 (500 g) cups tomato sauce
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 tsp pepper
1-1/2 tsp iodized fine salt

Cheese Sauce

1 (100 g) bar DARI CRÈME CLASSIC
1/2 cup MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
2-1/2 cups MAGNOLIA FULL CREAM MILK
1 (165 g) pack MAGNOLIA QUICKMELT CHEESE, grated
1/8 tsp nutmeg
5 cloves garlic, minced

Procedure:

  1. To make chicken tomato sauce, melt margarine in a pan and sauté onion and garlic. Add chicken and cook for 2 minutes and then add canned tomatoes and tomato sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes. Season with sugar, pepper and salt. Simmer for 10 minutes or until slightly thick. Combine cooked pasta. Place in a 9x13 inch ovenproof baking dish. Set aside.
  2. To make cheese sauce, melt margarine in a pan. Add flour and mix until thick paste forms. Slowly add milk, cheese and nutmeg while mixing continuously. Mix well. Turn off heat and add garlic.
  3. Spread cheese sauce on top of pasta. Baked in a preheated oven set to 350oF for 15 minutes until cheese golden brown.

Makes 16 servings.
(Yield: 16 cups or pc/1 cup or pc per serving)
