WONTON SOUP


Ingredients:

1/2 cup sliced onion leeks
2 tbsp cooking oil
3 cups chicken bouillon cube, dissolved in 4 cups chicken stock (from boiling chicken breast) or water
1 tsp Chinese five spice powder
2 tsp soy sauce
2 tsp rice wine
6 pc MAGNOLIA CHICKEN STATION SIOMAI
3 stems Chinese cabbage or bok choy
1 tsp iodized fine salt
1 tsp white pepper
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp chopped chives

Procedure:

  1. Sauté leeks in cooking oil then add chicken stock, five spice powder, soy sauce and rice wine.
  2. Add siomai and simmer to cook. One minute before serving, drop bok choy and season with salt and pepper. Pour sesame oil and top with chives.
Makes 2 to 3 servings.
