WHOLE WHEAT PENNE ARRABIATA


Ingredients:

1 (180 g) can PUREFOODS CHICKEN AFRITADA
1 pound whole wheat penne or whole wheat spaghetti pasta
1 sprig Italian Parsley (leaves only), chopped
1 sprig fresh basil leaves
coarse grain salt , to cook the pasta

Procedure:

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add coarse salt to taste. Add pasta and cook until al dente for 7 minutes, depending on the brand. Drain the pasta then transfer to a warmed serving platter.
  2. Put a sauté pan over medium heat. Add chicken. Heat and stir occasionally then pour over the cooked pasta.
  3. Garnish with chopped parsley and top with basil leaves. Serve immediately.
