WARM AND COLD SAVORY CONES


Ingredients:

12 pc store-bought ice cream cones (flat bottom)

Cold Egg Salad cone

3 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS, boiled and chopped
4 pc PUREFOODS SWEET HAM, cubed
1 tbsp chopped green onions
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup MAGNOLIA REAL MAYONNAISE
iodized fine salt and pepper to taste

Warm Pizza cone

1 tbsp cooking oil
1/2 cup PRIMO D' ITALIA PEPPERONI, roughly chopped
1/4 cup sliced button mushrooms, drained
2 tbsp diced green bell peppers
2 tbsp diced red bell peppers
2 tbsp sliced pitted black olives
iodized fine salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup store bought pizza sauce
1/2 cup grated MAGNOLIA QUICKMELT CHEESE

Procedure:

  1. For egg salad cone mixture, combine all ingredients in a bowl. Cover and set aside in the chiller.
  2. For pizza cone, heat oil in pan. Sauté pepperoni, mushrooms and bell peppers. Add olives and season with salt and pepper. Let cool.
  3. Divide egg salad mixture and fill 6 cones. Serve while chilled.
  4. For the pizza cones, fill 6 cones with a tablespoon of pizza sauce.Divide sautéed mixture and fill in cones. Top with grated cheese then broil in oven to melt cheese. Serve while warm.
Makes 12 pieces.
