VEEGA MEAT-FREE NUGGETS & COLESLAW BURGERS


Ingredients:

2 (200 g each) packs VEEGA MEAT-FREE NUGGETS, cooked according to package directions
5 pc burger buns

Coleslaw

1 cup MAGNOLIA REAL MAYONNAISE
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp iodized fine salt
1/8 tsp pepper
150 grams green cabbage, shredded (about 2 cups)
180 grams red cabbage, shredded (about 2 cups)
1 (120 g) pc carrot, shredded (about 1 cup)
150 grams onions

Procedure:

  1. Combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, sugar, salt and pepper in a bowl. Mix well until sugar dissolves and then add the rest of the coleslaw ingredients. Mix well and chill before use.
  2. Assemble burgers by placing 3 meat-free nuggets on half buns and topping with 1/4 cup coleslaw. Cover with remaining buns to make sandwiches.

Makes 5 servings
(Yield: 5 burgers & 1-1/4 cups coleslaw/1 burger with 1/4 cup coleslaw per serving)
