UBE BASQUE BURNT CHEESECAKE


Ingredients:

2 bars (225 g each) MAGNOLIA CREAM CHEESE, softened
1/2 cup (130 g) store bought ube halaya
3/4 cup (150 g) sugar
3 pc (150 g) MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS
1 pack (120 mL) MAGNOLIA ALL-PURPOSE CREAM
2 tsp (8 g) ube flavor & color
1-1/2 tbsp (12 g) MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR

Procedure:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line an 8-inch pan with parchment/baking paper, making sure lining is at least 2" above pan on all sides. Set aside.
  2. Using an electric mixer, beat cream cheese, ube halaya and sugar in a bowl until light and fluffy (around 10 minutes). Add the eggs one at a time, followed by cream and ube flavor & color.
  3. Lower speed, and then gradually add flour to the batter a little at a time. Mix until well combined. Scoop batter into prepared baking pan.
  4. Bake until golden brown on top and very jiggly in the center (around 40 minutes).
  5. Let cool slightly (it will fall drastically as it cools), then unmold. Cool completely before serving.
Makes 8 servings.
