THICK CUT BACON AND GARLIC SPAGHETTI


Ingredients:

1 pack (500 g) PUREFOODS THICK CUT HONEYCURED BACON, cut into 1 cm cubes
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 kg squid ink spaghetti (preferred pasta), cooked according to package directions
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 pc (40 g) lemon, cut into wedges
1/2 stalk (3 g) parsley, chopped

Procedure:

1. In a pan, cook bacon in its own oil for about 10 minutes. Set aside bacon.

2. In the same pan with bacon oil, sauté garlic

3. Toss in pasta, cheese and cooked bacon.

4. Transfer to a plate. Serve with lemon wedges and sprinkle with parsley. 

 

Makes 6 servings.

(Yield: 6 cups/ 1 cup per serving)
