TAKWAY FRITTATA


Ingredients:

3 tbsp cooking oil
1 (50 g) pc onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 (132 g) cup takway or gabi/taro stolon, peeled and cut into 1/2 inch long
1-1/4 cups water
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 (30 g) pc red bell pepper, chopped
3 (40 g each) pc tomatoes, chopped
4 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS, beaten
1/4 cup grated MAGNOLIA QUICKMELT CHEESE
1 (20 g) bundle green onions, chopped

Procedure:

  1. In a pan, heat 2 tbsp oil and sauté onion and garlic. Add takway, water, soy sauce. Cover and simmer until tender without stirring.
  2. Add bell pepper and tomatoes. Set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add remaining oil and cook eggs as scrambled.
  4. Top with takway mixture and cheese. Broil in the oven until cheese melts
  5. Top with green onions.

Makes 5 servings.
