TAKWAY FRITTATA (GABI OR TARO STOLON FRITTATA)


Ingredients:

3 tbsp MAGNOLIA NUTRI OIL COCONUT VEGETABLE OIL
1 (50 g) pc onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 cup takway or gabi/taro stolon (peel the outer layer, clean and cut 1/2 inch long)
1-1/4 cups water
soy sauce to taste
2 tbsp chopped red bell pepper
1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
4 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS, beaten
1/4 cup grated MAGNOLIA QUICKMELT CHEESE
3 tbsp chopped green onions

Procedure:

  1. In a pan, heat 2 tbsp oil and sauté onion and garlic. Add takway or gabi/taro stolon, water, soy sauce. Cover and simmer until tender without stirring.
  2. Add bell pepper and tomatoes. Set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add remaining oil and cook scrambled eggs.
  4. Top with takway or gabi/taro stolon mixture and grated cheese. Broil until cheese is melted.
  5. Top with chopped green onions.
Makes 5 servings.
