SWEET BUTTER BALLS


Ingredients:

2-1/2 cups MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1/4 cup sugar
1 (225 g) bar MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER UNSALTED, softened
1 cup chopped cashew nuts
1-1/2 cups powdered sugar for dusting

Procedure:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Combine flour and sugar in a bowl. Cut in butter and blend well. Fold in nuts.
  3. Scoop 2 tablespoons of mixture and roll into balls. Arrange on an ungreased cookie sheet one inch apart. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until slightly brown. Remove from oven.
  4. Roll in powdered sugar and cool. Roll again in powdered sugar. Keep in airtight containers.
Makes 28-30 balls.
