SUSHI BAKE SAN MIGUEL DEL MAR


Ingredients:

2 (185 g each) cans tuna in water, drained
1/4 cup MAGNOLIA REAL MAYONNAISE
1 (235 g) pack MAGNOLIA CHEEZEE SQUEEZE MILKY WHITE
2 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp sesame oil
4 cups cooked Japanese rice
11 pc Nori sheets, cut into 4 squares, plus extra cut into thin strips for garnish

Procedure:

  1. Preheat oven to 200°F.
  2. In a bowl, combine tuna, mayonnaise, cheese, 1 tbsp of vinegar, and sesame oil. Mix and set aside.
  3. In an 8.5x11x2 inch baking dish, place rice making sure that it’s compressed and levelled. Spread the tuna mixture evenly. Place in the oven for 15 minutes or until the top has browned. Top with nori strips.
  4. To serve, place about 2 tbsp sushi bake on square nori sheet. 

Makes 44 servings

Yield: 1 rectangular dish

Tip/s:

  • An oven toaster can be used instead of an oven. Adjustment to the pan size should be made. Bake for 5 minutes in the oven toaster or until top has browned.
