STRAWBERRY HEART SANDWICH


Ingredients:

1 (320 grams) pack strawberry jam
3/4 cup sour cream
1 (225 grams) pack DARI CREME CLASSIC
1/2 cup sugar
3 cups MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR

Procedure:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350°F.
  2. Prepare cookie sheet by lining with Glad Cook and Bake Paper. Set aside.
  3. Combine sour cream, butter and flour in a food processor until it forms into a ball.
  4. Gather dough into a ball. Wrap with Glad Cling Wrap and chill for at least 30 minutes. Cut into 2 equal pieces.
  5. On a lightly floured surface, roll out one piece until ¼” thick. Cut dough using a cookie cutter.
  6. You should have an even number of dough cut outs. Cut out a circular hole in the center of the half number of dough. This will serve as your top layer.
  7. Drop about 1 teaspoonful of jam into the center of the whole dough and top with a piece of the dough with a hole.
  8. Bake cookie sandwiches on prepare cookie sheet for 15 minutes or until done.

Makes 24 cookies.
