STOVETOP BBQ RIBS


Ingredients:

1 (1.1 to 1.3 kg) pack MONTEREY EXCLUSIVES AMERICAN STYLE RIBS

BBQ Sauce

3 tbsp MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER UNSALTED
3 cloves garlic, finely crushed
2 cups tomato ketchup
3 cups water
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp snipped parsley (optional)

Procedure:

  1. Place ribs in a stock pot and pour the BBQ sauce ingredients in. Cover and bring to a boil and then simmer for 1 hour or until the ribs are tender.
  2. Carefully remove the ribs and simmer the liquid for 15 minutes or until reduced and thick. Return ribs to the pot and simmer for 5 minutes or until the glaze sticks to the ribs. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Makes 6-8 servings

(Yield: 1 rack of ribs)
