STEWED PORK PATA


Ingredients:

1 kg MONTEREY PORK PATA, sliced
1 dozen MONTEREY MEATSHOP VIGAN LONGGANISA
3 tbsp chopped celery
1 tbsp pepper
1/2 cup cooking oil
1 (250 g)           pack PUREFOODS CLASSIC HONEYCURED BACON, sliced
3 tbsp chopped onions
3 tbsp chopped carrots
3 tbsp chopped garlic
2 (300 g each) tbsp store bought cooked white beans
2 tbsp paprika
4 cup chicken stock

Procedure:

  1. Season pork pata with salt and pepper. Set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a casserole. Brown pata. Set aside when done.
  3. In the same pan, add bacon, celery, onions, carrots, garlic and longganisa. Cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Add white beans, chicken stock, paprika and pata. Cook covered until pata is tender.

Makes 4-5 servings.
