STEAMED EGGS WITH BACON


Ingredients:

1 (200 g) pack PUREFOODS CLASSIC HONEYCURED BACON, sliced
5 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS
3/4 cup MAGNOLIA FULL CREAM MILK
2 tbsp sugar
1 (15 g) stalk green onions, chopped

Procedure:

  1. In a non-stick pan, fry bacon on its own fat until crispy. Drain excess oil on paper towels and set aside.
  2. Put water in pot, and place a strainer for steaming. Bring to a boil.
  3. In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk. sugar and half of green onions with a fork.
  4. Place in a heatproof 7 inch diameter bowl. Steam over low heat and stir occasionally with a wooden spoon to make it fluffy until egg mixture sets. Remove from steamer.
  5. When cooked, top with bacon and remaining green onions just before serving.

Makes 5 servings.

Yield: 2 cups mixture
