STAR POPCORN


Ingredients:

3 tbsp (36 g) STAR MARGARINE CLASSIC
1/2 cup (101 g) unpopped corn kernels
1/4 tsp iodized fine salt

Procedure:

  1. Melt margarine in a deep heavy bottomed pot. Increase heat to moderate high. Test readiness by adding 1-2 kernels of corn. Cover pot and wait for kernels to pop. Remove pot from fire for 1 minute while removing the popped kernels.
  2. Add remaining kernels. Cover and put back on fire. Once popped, turn off fire. Transfer popcorn to serving bowl. Season with salt. Adjust, as needed.

Makes 8 servings.
(Yield: 8 cups/ 1 cup per serving)
