STAR CHOCOLATE BANOFFEE


Ingredients:

1-1/4 cups crushed LA PACITA GRAHAM CRACKERS
1/3 cup MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER UNSALTED, melted
1 (200 mL) tub STAR MARGARINE CHOCOLATE
6 pc ripe lakatan bananas, sliced
1 (250 mL) pack MAGNOLIA ALL-PURPOSE CREAM, chilled
2 cups confectioner's sugar

CARAMEL SAUCE

1 cup sugar
2 tbsp corn syrup
1 (250 mL) pack MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE CREAM
1/4 cup MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER UNSALTED

Procedure:

  1. Mix graham crumbs and butter. Press onto a 9”inch baking pan. Chill for about an hour.
  2. To prepare caramel sauce, combine sugar, corn syrup. Cook and heat until color turns to amber. Slowly stir in cream and butter. Let cool and set aside.
  3. In another pan, melt Star Margarine Chocolate and then add bananas, mix well.
  4. Whip cream together with confectioner's sugar.
  5. Top crust with banana mixture then with whipped cream and drizzle with caramel sauce.
Makes 10-12 servings
