STAR CHICKEN STEAKS WITH GRAVY


Ingredients:

2 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS, beaten
2 tbsp MAGNOLIA PURE FRESH MILK
1/4 cup MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
pinch iodized fine salt
1/2 tsp pepper
8 pc MAGNOLIA CHICKEN STATION THIGH FILLETS
1 cup STAR MARGARINE CLASSIC
1/2 cup water
1 pack instant chicken gravy mix (you may also search for "Classic Gravy" in our recipes section)

Procedure:

  1. In a bowl, combine eggs and milk. In another bowl, combine flour, salt and pepper.
  2. Dip chicken in egg-milk mixture until well coated. Dredge in flour mixture and pat excess flour. Set aside.
  3. In a large nonstick pan, melt margarine. Over medium heat, pan-fry chicken and cook until done. Do not cook over high heat as margarine will burn.
  4. Meanwhile, heat water in a saucepan and add gravy mix. Stir well until free of lumps. Pour over chicken or serve on the side.

Makes 4 servings.

TIP: Use chicken leftovers as filling for sandwiches.
