SPINY MONSTER BALLS


Ingredients:

1/2 kg MAGNOLIA CHICKEN STATION SIOMAI MIX
4 MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS, 2 pc for siomai and 2 pc beaten for coating
1 cup fine breadcrumbs
1 cup MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
12 slices white bread, diced
cooking oil for frying

Procedure:

  1. In a medium glass bowl, combine siomai mix, 2 eggs and breadcrumbs. Mix well. Form mixture into 1 inch balls.
  2. Place prepared balls on a sheet tray lined with baking paper and chill for at least an hour.
  3. Remove balls from the chiller then dredge each ball in flour, dip in beaten eggs then coat with diced bread cubes. Chill prepared monster balls for 30 minutes.
  4. Heat oil for deep-frying. Deep-fry monster balls over moderate heat until golden brown. Serve monster balls with tomato ketchup
Makes 4 to 5 servings.
