SMASHED ANGUS BBQ BURGERS


Ingredients:

1/2 cup MAGNOLIA BUTTER-LICIOUS!, softened
2 (90 g each) pc onions, sliced
1 (200 g) pack PUREFOODS CLASSIC BACON HONEYCURED
1 (860 g) pack CHEF’S SELECTION ANGUS BEEF BURGER PATTY
1/4 cup MAGNOLIA REAL MAYONNAISE
2 tbsp store bought barbecue sauce
5 pc hamburger buns, split in half
1 (120 g) pack MAGNOLIA CHEEZEE SQUEEZE

Procedure:

  1. In a 9 inch diameter pan over medium heat, melt Butter-licious! Sauté onions until caramelized (browned) and tender. Keep warm and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, cook bacon slices until crispy. Set aside.
  3. In the same pan, place a patty and smash to make it thin. Cook patty for 7 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate and cover with foil to keep it warm. Repeat with remaining patties.
  4. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise and barbecue sauce. Mix well.
  5. To assemble, spread bottom half of buns with barbecue mayo sauce. On each bun, arrange patty, some caramelized onions, bacon, and then generously drizzle with cheese sauce. Close sandwiches with top half of buns.

Makes 5 servings

Yield: 5 sandwiches
