SKIPPY® CLASSIC PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES


Ingredients:

2-1/2 cups MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1 tsp BAKE BEST BAKING POWDER
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp iodized fine salt
1 cup SKIPPY® CREAMY PEANUT BUTTER
3/4 cup MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER UNSALTED
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS
1 tsp vanilla extract

Procedure:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix well and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat together peanut butter and butter until smooth. Add sugars, egg and vanilla extract until blended. Slowly add flour mixture until blended.
  4. Shape dough into 2-inch balls. Arrange cookie 2 inches apart on baking pan lined with parchment/baking paper. Gently flatten each cookie using fork in a crisscross pattern.
  5. Bake cookies for 12-15 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool completely on wire rack.

Makes 8 servings 

(Yield:  24 cookies / 3 pc per serving)

Tip/s:

  • Refrigerate cookie dough for 30 minutes until easy to handle, if needed.
