SIZZLING BURGER STEAK WITH GRAVY


Ingredients:

2 tbsp MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER UNSALTED
1 pc CHEF’S SELECTION ANGUS BEEF BURGER PATTY
5 (13 g) pc French beans
1 cup cooked rice
1 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGG, cooked sunny side up
1/4 cup sliced mushrooms

Gravy

1/3 cup MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER UNSALTED
3 tbsp MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
2 cups beef stock
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Procedure:

  1. Make gravy by melting butter in a saucepan, and then add flour while stirring continuously. Add beef stock. Let simmer, while stirring continuously, for 2-3 minutes before adding Worcestershire sauce and pepper. Simmer for another 3 minutes until sauce thickens. Set aside.
  2. Heat a sizzling plate on the stovetop set on high heat. Cook the burger for 5-6 minutes per side. Side burger with, beans, rice and then top rice with egg.
  3. Top burger with mushrooms and pour a portion of gravy over burger just before serving.

Makes 1 serving

(Yield:  2 c gravy/almost 1/3 cup gravy per serving)
