SIMPLY DELICIOUS MESSED-UP BURGER BALLS


Ingredients:

6 pc PUREFOODS TENDER JUICY CHEESEBALLS
1 (3 pc) pack MONTEREY MONTE BURGERS
2 cups cooking oil for frying

Sauce:

2 tbsp DARI CRÈME CLASSIC
1/4 cup MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1 pc beef bouillon cube, dissolved in 2 cups hot water
2 tsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 cup sliced button mushrooms, drained

Procedure:

  1. Wrap each hotdog ball with a piece of burger patty. Form into a ball. Chill to set in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  2. Melt margarine in a saucepan. Add flour and mix to form a thick paste.
  3. Add mushrooms. Mix well and set aside.
  4. While stirring, slowly add beef stock. Cook until slightly thick while stirring continuously. Season with soy sauce and pepper. Add mushrooms and simmer once. Set aside.
  5. Deep-fry burger wrapped hotdogs until golden browned. Drain excess oil on paper towels.
  6. Pour sauce on top or on the side and serve with Star Garlic Rice, if desired.

Makes 6 servings.
