Ingredients:
7 (28 cups) | L | water |
300 | g | MONTEREY PORK LIEMPO |
150 | g | MONTEREY PORK BONES |
300 | g | MAGNOLIA CHICKEN STATION SOUP PACK |
1/2 | cup | dried seaweed or wakame |
1 | cup | vegetable trimmings |
1 | tbsp | iodized fine salt |
3 | cups | ramen noodles, blanched |
1 | cup | chopped cabbage, blanched |
green onions for garnish | ||
1/4 | cup | chopped nori wrapper |
Procedure:
1. In a medium saucepot, heat water and add the next 6 ingredients. Bring to a boil and simmer covered for 6 hours over low heat. Set aside liempo and slice when cool. Strain broth and discard strained solids. 2. In serving bowls, arrange ramen noodles, cabbage and sliced pork. Pour hot broth and top with green onions and nori. Makes 3 servings
