SEAFOOD AND BACON PASTA ALA VONGOLE


Ingredients:

200 g spaghetti, cooked according to package directions
1 (200 g) pack PUREFOODS CLASSIC HONEYCURED BACON, chopped
1 kg clams, cleaned
1 cup white wine
1 tsp iodized fine salt
1 tsp pepper
1 (5 g) stalk parsley, chopped (1 tbsp)

Procedure:

  1. Sauté bacon over medium heat in a pan for 3 minutes or until its fat melts.
  2. Increase heat then add clams and wine. Cover for another 5 minutes. Add pasta, salt and pepper and mix evenly.
  3. Transfer to a plate and garnish with parsley.

Makes 4 servings.
