SEAFOOD AND BACON PASTA ALA VONGOLE


Ingredients:

200 g spaghetti pasta, cooked
1 (500 g) pack PUREFOODS CLASSIC BACON HONEYCURED, chopped
1 kg clams, cleaned
1 cup white wine
1 tsp iodized fine salt
1 tsp pepper
chopped parsley

Procedure:

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. Sauté bacon over medium heat in a pan for 3 minutes or until its fat melts.
  3. Increase heat then add clams and wine. Cover for another 5 minutes. Add pasta, salt and pepper and mix evenly.
  4. Transfer on a plate and garnish with parsley.
Makes 3 to 4 servings.
