SAUSAGE CROISSANTWICHES


Ingredients:

5 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS, beaten
1/4 cup MAGNOLIA FULL CREAM MILK
1/3 cup + 1 tbsp GOLDEN FRY PALM OIL
5 pc CHEF’S SELECTION BREAKFAST SAUASAGE PATTY
1/4 cup Caesar dressing
5 pc croissants, split in half and kept warm
5 (7 g each) pc lettuce leaves
2 (80 g each) pc tomatoes, sliced
5 pc sliced cheese

Procedure:

  1. In a bowl, beat together eggs and milk. In a non-stick pan, heat 3 tbsp oil over medium heat. Pour about 1/8 cup (2 tbsp) of egg mixture and swirl pan so egg mixture covers pan surface. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until egg has set. Fold egg into two twice. Set aside. Repeat with remaining egg mixture.
  2. In the same pan, add 3 tbsp oil, and then pan-fry burger patties for 2-3 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate and cover with foil to keep it warm.
  3. To assemble, spread bottom half of croissants with dressing. Arrange lettuce, tomato slices, sausage patty, cheese, and egg. Close sandwiches with top half of croissants. Secure with toothpicks, if needed.

Makes 5 servings

Yield: 5 sandwiches
