REVEL BARS


Ingredients:

1 (225 g) bar MAGNOLIA BAKER'S BEST MARGARINE
2 cups brown sugar
2 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS
2 tsp vanilla extract
2-1/2 cups MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
2 cup instant oatmeal
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup drained crushed pineapple
360 grams semi-sweet chocolate, grated
1 (300 mL) can condensed milk

Procedure:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9" x 13" pan with aluminum foil. Grease pan. Set aside.
  2. Cream margarine with brown sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition then add vanilla.
  3. Combine flour, oatmeal and baking soda then mix with margarine mixture. Fold in oatmeal. Press 3/4 of the mixture at the bottom of the prepared pan. Spread crushed pineapple then set aside./li>
  4. In a double boiler, melt chocolate then add condensed milk. then pour over oatmeal mixture in pan. Top with remaining oatmeal mixture. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool then cut into bars.
Makes 32 pieces.
