MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS, use 1 whole egg and 1 beaten for eggwash
Mix together bread flour, brown sugar and salt. Set aside.
Dissolved yeast in lukewarm water, add molasses. Set aside.
Combine yeast mixture, milk and egg. Add the liquid ingredients to flour mixture and mix until well blended. Add margarine. Add remaining raisins and continue kneading until dough is smooth and elastic. Add 1/2 of the raisin, knead for another 2 minutes. Rest for 15 minutes.
Cut into desired weight and form into baston. Put in greased loaf pans. Proof for 2-1/2 hours. Apply eggwash. Bake in a preheated oven set at 375°F for 25 to 30 minutes.
