PUTO


Ingredients:

2 cups MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
3 tbsp baking powder
1 cup sugar
2 cups water
1 (200 g) pack MAGNOLIA CHEEZEE, sliced into strips

Procedure:

  1. Prepare steamer by putting in water until base is half-filled.  Turn on heat to high until water boils.
  2. Meanwhile, combine flour, baking powder and sugar in a bowl.  Add water and mix until smooth.  Fill each puto mold with prepared mixture.  Top with a strip of cheese.
  3. Arrange puto on the steam basket and steam for 20 minutes.
Makes 20 pieces.
