PUREFOODS FILIPINIANA FIESTA HAM


Ingredients:

1 (1 kg) pc PUREFOODS FIESTA HAM
1-1/2 cups mango juice
5 strips dried mangoes
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 pc pandan leaf

Procedure:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Place ham in an ovenproof dish. Set aside.
  3. Combine mango juice, dried mangoes and sugar. Mix well until sugar is completely dissolved. Pour on ham and add pandan leaf. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, basting with marinade 3 to 4 times.
  4. Place baked ham on a serving platter and boil extra mango syrup until thick. If desired, chop cooked mango strips and combine with syrup or garnish on top of ham.
  5. Garnish with parsley, cherries or extra ripe mangoes, if desired.
Makes 10 to 12 servings.
