CORNED BEEF TOMATO & BASIL PASTA


Ingredients:

1/4 cup DARI CREME CLASSIC
1 pc (100 g) onion, chopped
1 clove (5 g) garlic, chopped
1 can (380 g) PUREFOODS CHUNKEE CORNED BEEF
2-1/2 cups (542 g) chunky tomato sauce
iodized fine salt and pepper to taste
1 pack (400 g) spaghetti, cooked according to package directions

Procedure:

  1. Heat margarine in a saucepan. Sauté onions and garlic. Add corned beef and mix well. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes over moderate heat.
  2. Add tomato sauce and cook for another 7 to 10 minutes. Add basil and season with salt and pepper. Toss in cooked pasta and serve.
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
(Yield: 8 cups/ 1 cup per serving)
