PORK ROCK N' ROLL


Ingredients:

1/2 kg MONTEREY GROUND PORK
1 pc small singkamas, peeled and diced
1/2 cup diced green onions
1 tsp iodized fine salt
1/2 tsp pepper
panyo-panyuan (pork sinsal for wrapping), washed properly
1 cup MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR for coating
2 cup cooking oil, for deep-frying
store-bought sweet and sour sauce for dipping

Procedure:

  1. Mix pork, singkamas, spring onions, salt and pepper in a bowl. Set aside.
  2. On a chopping board, spread a piece of panyo-panyuan and put a tablespoon of the pork mixture and roll it to about 2 inches long.
  3. Coat with flour then deep-fry in hot oil. Serve with sweet and sour sauce.
Makes 4-5 servings.
