PORK RIBS WITH TAUSI


Ingredients:

1 kg MONTEREY PORK RIBS, cut into 1/2 inch pieces

Marinade

2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1 tbsp + 1 tsp fried garlic
1 tbsp + 1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp white pepper
2 tsp hot soybean paste
1/2 cup tausi (fermented salted black soybeans), sauteed in a little oil
1 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGG, beaten
1/2 cup cornstarch
1 (50 g) pc green bell pepper, cut into strips

Procedure:

  1. Combine marinade ingredients, except bell pepper, and mix well. Add pork and toss in the mixture.
  2. Prepare steamer. Transfer pork mixture into a heatproof container and top with bell pepper strips. Steam for 40 minutes. Serve.

Makes 6 to 8 servings.
