PORK & HOTDOG MENUDO

Ingredients:

1/4	kg	MONTEREY PORK PIGUE, menudo cut
1-1/2	tbsp	soy sauce
3	tbsp	cooking oil
1 (50 g)	pc	onion, sliced
6	cloves	garlic, finely crushed
1-1/2	cups	water
		sugar
1 (200 g)	pack	tomato sauce
1	tsp	iodized fine salt
1/2	tsp	pepper
1 (85 g)	tbsp	PUREFOODS LIVER SPREAD
1 (100 g)	pc	potato, cubed
1 (100 g)	pc	carrot, cubed
4	pc	PUREFOODS TENDER JUICY CHEESEDOG or other PUREFOODS TENDER JUICY HOTDOG variants, sliced diagonally 1/2” thick

Procedure:

In a bowl, combine pork and soy sauce. Mix well. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
In a saucepan or pot, heat oil then sauté onion and garlic then add meat and sauté for 3-5 minutes and until meat dranges in color.
Add water, tomato sauce, salt and pepper. Cover and let simmer for 20 minutes.
Add liver spread, potato, carrot and hotdogs. Simmer for 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender and sauce slightly thickens.

Makes 8 servings.

(Yield 4 cups/1/2 cup per serving)
