PALITAW WITH QUICKMELT CHEESE


Ingredients:

2 cups ground rice flour (galapong)
dash iodized fine salt
2 cups water
1 (185 g) pack MAGNOLIA QUICKMELT CHEESE, sliced
2 cups freshly grated coconut
1 cup sesame seeds, toasted
2 cups sugar

Procedure:

  1. Mix galapong, salt and water. Make oval-shaped pieces then flatten.
  2. Sandwich a slice of cheese in between 2 pieces of galapong mixture.
  3. Cook palitaw pieces in boiling water then drain.
  4. Combine coconut, sesame seeds and sugar in a bowl then roll palitaw in the mixture.
Makes 45 (20 g each) pieces.
