ORANGE CHOCOLATE CHIA CAKE


Ingredients:

1/2 cup water
1/2 cup orange juice
1 tbsp orange zest
1/2 cup cooking oil
3 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS
1 (500 g) pack MAGNOLIA DEVIL’S FOOD CAKE MIX
2 tbsp chia seeds

Procedure:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line one 8 x 4 x 3 inch loaf pan with baking/parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. In a bowl, combine water, orange juice, orange zest, oil and eggs. Mix well. Add food cake mix and stir until free from lumps. Fold in chia seeds.
  3. Transfer batter into prepared pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes on until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Makes 8 servings
