2 (200 g each) packs PUREFOODS CHICKEN BREAST NUGGETS, cooked according to package directions
9 (22 g) pc lettuce leaves, washed and pat-dried
2 (9 g) tbsp green onions


1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup orange juice
1/4 cup water
1/2 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 (5 g) tsp chopped ginger
1 clove garlic, chopped
2 tbsp cornstarch, dissolved in 2 tbsp water
1/4 tsp iodized fine salt


  1. Combine sauce ingredients in a pot. Let simmer, stirring continuously, until sauce thickens.
  2. In a bowl, lightly toss with 1/4 cup sauce. 
  3. Arrange lettuce leaves on a serving plate. Top each leaf with a piece of chicken nugget. Garnish with green onions.Serve with extra sauce on the side.

Makes 5-6 servings.

(Yield: 1 cup sauce & 18 pc chicken/3 pc nuggets per serving)
