ORANGE CHICKEN KARAAGE


Ingredients:

1/4 kg COOK EXPRESS CHICKEN KARAAGE, fried according to package directions

ORANGE GLAZE

3 tbsp chopped garlic
2 tbsp GOLDEN FRY PALM OIL
1 tsp iodized fine salt
1 cup orange juice (from 2 large oranges)
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp cornstarch, dissolved in 1/4 cup water
1 tbsp orange zest
1 tbsp chopped green onions

Procedure:

  1. In a pan, sauté garlic in oil over low heat for 1 minute. Add salt then orange juice and honey. Let simmer.
  2. Add cornstarch mixture and stirring continuously. Simmer until thick.
  3. Add orange zest and toss in chicken karaage. Garnish with green onions.

Makes 4 servings

(Yield: 1/2 cup sauce, approximately 12 pieces of chicken/3 pc per serving)
