ONE POT BBQ CHICKEN PASTA CASSEROLE


Ingredients:

1 (550 g) pack MAGNOLIA CHICKEN TIMPLADOS BBQ, drained
1/4 cup cooking oil
2 cups chicken stock
300 grams penne pasta
1 (250 mL) pack MAGNOLIA ALL-PURPOSE CREAM
pinch iodized fine salt
pinch pepper
1/4 (0.52 g) tsp chili pepper flakes

Procedure:

  1. In a large casserole, brown chicken in oil, about 3 minutes per side.
  2. Add chicken stock. Cover and let simmer for 12 minutes.
  3. Add pasta, stirring continuously until mixture starts to boil again. Cook for another 8-10 minutes or until pasta is al dente. Add 1/3 to 1/2 cup water if needed.
  4. Add cream and season with salt, pepper and pepper flakes. Simmer once. Serve. 

Makes 6 servings.

(Yield: 8 cups pasta mixture)
