OATMEAL RAISIN COOKIES


Ingredients:

1 (225 g) bar BAKER'S BEST MARGARINE
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS
1 tsp vanilla extract
1-1/2 cups MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp iodized fine salt
1 tsp iodized fine salt
1 tsp baking soda
1-1/2 cup oatmeal
1-1/2 cups instant oatmeal
1 cup raisins

Procedure:

  1. Grease a cookie sheet. Set aside. Cream margarine until light in color. Add white and brown sugar. Add the eggs, one at a time beating well after each addition. Blend in vanilla. Set aside.
  2. Combine flour, cinnamon, salt, and baking soda. Add to the margarine mixture. Fold in oatmeal and raisins. Mix well until blended. Chill for 3 hours.
  3. Shape chilled batter into 1" balls and place in prepared pans. Bake in a preheated oven set at 350°F for 8 - 10 minutes or until slightly brown. Cool.
Makes 36 pieces.
