MUSHROOM CANAPES


Ingredients:

1 bar (200 g) MAGNOLIA BUTTER-LICIOUS! SALTED
1/2 cup (78 g) chopped button mushrooms
1 pack (225 g) MAGNOLIA CREAM CHEESE, softened
2 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS, use egg yolks only
1/2 pc (15 g) white onion, chopped
10 pc (320 g) toasted bread slices/rounds or crackers

Procedure:

1. Melt butterblend in a pan.
2. Sauté mushrooms for about 2 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, egg yolks and onion. Add mushrooms and mix well.
4. Spread mushroom mixture on bread and toast for 2 to 4 minutes.
5. Serve warm.

Makes 5 to 6 servings.
(Yield: 1 to 2 piece/s of toast per serving)

Tip/s:

  • Use round biscuits as alternative to bread.
