MONGOLIAN RICE BOWL


Ingredients:

1/2 kg MONTEREY BEEF SUKIYAKI CUT
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 cloves garlic, finely crushed
1/2 tbsp grated ginger
2 tbsp cooking oil
5 cups cooked rice
1 cup togue, blanched
1 (120g) pc carrot, sliced and blanched

Procedure:

  1. Dredge beef in cornstarch and let it set for 10 minutes.
  2. In a bowl combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic and ginger.Set aside.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and sauté beef. Add sauce and continue to cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Portion rice in 5 bowls then top with beef, togue and carrot.

Makes 5 servings.
