MIX ‘N STEAM PUTO


Ingredients:

1 kg MIX 'N STEAM PUTO MIX
840 grams (3-1/3 cups + 1 tbsp) water

Procedure:

  1. Preheat steamer.
  2. Combine puto mix and water in a mixing bowl with paddle and mix at low speed for 1 minute or until batter is smooth.
  3. Fill each puto mold with about 20 grams batter (1 tbsp).
  4. Steam for 15 minutes.
  5. Cool and remove from molds.  

Makes 90 pieces.

Tip/s:

  • Add cheese topping: Slice into thin strips or cube 1(160 g) pack MAGNOLIA CHEEZEE
  • Pandan Puto variation: Instead of plain water in the recipe, boil 1L water with 6 pc pandan leaves. When cool, measure amount needed.
  • Colored Puto: add 1 tbsp desired liquid food color to batter
