MIX ‘N BAKE PAN DE SAL


Ingredients:

1 kg MIX ‘N BAKE PAN DE SAL MIX
1-1/2 tbsp EMPEROR’S BEST INSTANT YEAST
1-1/2 cups water
1/4 cup + 3 tbsp cooking oil

Procedure:

  1. Combine all ingredients and mix at low speed for 1 minutes.
  2. Shift to high speed and mix until fully developed.
  3. Divide into 450 gram pieces and round up.
  4. Form into 30 inch baston, roll in bread crumbs and rest for 30 minutes. Cut each baston into 15 equal pieces. Place on baking trays and proof until double in size.
  5. Preheat oven to 190°C. Bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown.

Variations:

  • Malunggay Pan De Sal – add 2 (40 grams) cups fresh malunggay leaves.
  • Corned Beef Pan De Sal –cut dough into 60 gram pieces and fill each with 30 grams Purefoods Corned Beef.

Plain Pan De Sal- 4 dozens

Malunggay Pan De Sal- 4 dozens

Corned Beef Pan De Sal- 2 dozens
