MINCED PORK IN LETTUCE


Ingredients:

2 tbsp MAGNOLIA NUTRI-OIL COCONUT VEGETABLE OIL
1 strip PUREFOODS CLASSIC BACON HONEYCURED, sliced
1 cup MONTEREY GROUND LEAN PORK
1/2 cup chopped carrots
1/4 cup hoisin sauce
1/2 tsp pepper
1/3 cup chopped singkamas
2 tbsp green onions, chopped, reserve 1 tbsp for topping
1/4 cup crumbled fried bihon
12 leaves Iceberg lettuce

Procedure:

  1. Heat oil in pan. Saute bacon then add pork and cook until color changes. Add carrots and mix well.
  2. Add water, hoisin sauce and pepper. Let simmer.
  3. Add singkamas. Cook over moderate heat for 2 minutes. Stir in green onions. Remove from heat.
  4. Arrange lettuce leaves on platter then top with meat mixture, crispy bihon and green onions.
Makes 6 servings.
