MECHADO PASTA BY MADALICIOUS COOK OFF CHALLENGER SISTINE TRIPOLE


Ingredients:

1 pc (50 g) onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic, chopped
3 tbsp cooking oil
1 pack (200 g) tomato sauce
1 can (284 g) button mushrooms pieces and stems, drained
1 can (210 g) PUREFOODS CORNED BEEF MECHADO
1 cup MAGNOLIA FULL CREAM MILK
2 tbsp soy sauce
iodized fine salt and pepper to taste
300 grams penne pasta, cooked according to package directions

Procedure:

1. In a pan, sauté onion and garlic in oil.
2. Add tomato sauce and let simmer for 10 minutes over low heat.
3. Add mushrooms, corned beef, milk, soy sauce, salt and pepper. Simmer once.
4. Toss in cooked pasta and serve.


Makes 6 servings.
